U of O Team Store

An elevated 60-foot wide enclosed window with 4-foot tall LED-lit dimensional letters suspended from the ceiling highlighted this larger-than-life installation for Nike and the University of Oregon. This dramatic window meets visitors as they enter the Moshofsky center and U of O team store within the Oregon Athletics complex.

Medium:
Athlete: printed vinyl mounted to 1/2" gator board. Backer: front lit dye-sublimiation printed fabric with 3mm SEG gasket. Lit letters/logos: layers of white acrylic, painted edges, printed cut vinyl borders, LED lights.
Execution Details:
Entire window is 12ft tall. 3D athlete spanned 332" of the window. The lit letters were custom built, individual units that spanned 412" standing at 4feet tall. Each letter weighed ~50-100lbs. Special hardware was purchased and affixed to the ceiling as well as for suspending each element from the hardware.
