How to Place an Order

We help our clients plan their graphics projects for months (or even years) in advance. More importantly, we're here for those tight deadlines and quick turnarounds. Each of our clients is paired with a dedicated account director and project manager who partners with them to bring their ideas to life. When you introduce a new project to your Infinity Images point(s) of contact, a comprehensive project summary email is extremely helpful in expediting the process. Keep reading for the makings of a perfect project summary email. If you’ve got a big idea but haven’t worked with us yet, reach out! One of our account directors will be in touch. We can’t wait to work with you.

ART FILES

A successful project requires art files (and sometimes engineering drawings) to be correctly set up. Our How to Successfully Submit Art Files blog lists the appropriate file creation software to use, image resolution, image bleed and color space requirements, and font usage. If you worked with another design team, make sure to attach your art files in your project summary email to your Infinity Images account representative! Be sure to also call out if your project is single- or double-sided.
Don’t have print-ready assets? Need some creative guidance? Our design department can handle that! We offer a full suite of design services that includes extending existing art to different formats and sizes, and creating brand-new looks from scratch.

SERVICES NEEDED

While our roots are in large-format printing, we’ve grown to boast an entire array of services: project management, design, 3D engineering, prepress, printing, cutting, fabrication, finishing, fulfillment, and installation. Which of our services will your project entail? Is it a simple print and cut job? Or are you also interested in incorporating specialty printing effects like varnish, neon ink, or raised printing? Will you need vinyl application, a laminate, or an anti-graffiti film? How about 3D components, digital screens, or custom fixtures? Does your project include on-site installation? Please include a list of all the services needed for your project.

GRAPHIC DIMENSIONS

What is the finished size of your graphic? Please list the width, height, and, if relevant, depth in your project summary email. While we could technically gather them from a design file or engineering drawing, we’ve found a separate summary to be a beneficial quality control check for externally created art files. If your project includes multiple graphics of differing sizes, please include dimensions for all components and clearly specify which dimensions are for which files.

QUANTITY

Is this a single banner print job or multiple graphics for dozens of retail stores around the country? We need to know the total quantity of your order. If your project includes multiple components, make sure to clearly identify the quantity for each one.

MATERIAL

If you happen to have a specific material in mind for your project, let us know! Most of our clients, however, look to us for material expertise. Whether you want sustainable options or are looking for a more cost-effective route, our sourcing experts will find the perfect materials for your unique project goals and budget.
Note: If you plan to supply a custom material, please drop it off at our facility labeled with the following information: your company name, your Infinity Images project manager’s name, the job title, and the quantity of items included.

BUDGET

Our clients range from small local businesses to global retail chains with hundreds of stores. Rest assured that we have plenty of experience working within a wide variety of budgets. If you have a pre-approved budget for your project, be sure to send that number to your project manager. It will help inform the design complexity, materials, scope, and more.

DEADLINE

Is a retail campaign launching? Do you have a gallery opening? Is there a company-wide event? When is the team’s opening game? Our clients’ industries range, but a deadline is a deadline. If you’ve got a date that the project must be completed by, make sure to let your account representative know as soon as possible.
Flat graphics will generally take us about 5 business days. More complex projects that require custom or large amounts of materials or outsourced products, vendors, and installation services will take an additional 1-3 weeks. The 5-day production minimum begins after proof approval.
Disclaimer: Depending on the turnaround time needed, a rush fee may be applied to the job.

PO #

We’re well aware of the organization required to track hundreds of separate projects at once. If your accounting department will require a purchase order (PO) number to invoice, please include that number in your project summary email. If you’re a smaller business, this may not be applicable to you.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Finally, will we ship your project, or will you pick it up from our facility? If shipping is required, is it to one destination or multiple? Please include the shipping address(es) in your project summary email. From there, your account representative will work with you to determine all the logistics (i.e., preferred commercial shipper, shipping method, access instructions, receiving point of contact, etc.).
