Columbia Sportswear Vent’Elation

Inspired by a “swamp air-boat”, this concept included the intense prototyping and engineering of multiple displays that included moving “air blades” that had product carefully placed and hung on them. The blades rotate like the blades of a swamp-air boat.

“Mini” versions of the spinning element also rotate behind the main blade. All wiring and motor elements were carefully hidden from customer view.

Engineering was a challenge, but our team proved their brilliance; the displays were designed to last for 30 days of continuous movement.
